Painting holidays

A chance to paint with a Bulgarian Master in Vidin

Various dates available

For the amateur and professional artist there cannot be many places more picturesque to paint than those in and around the Vidin region.  Added to this, the chance to paint with a Bulgarian master artist, Venelin Kokoranov, makes this trip somewhat unique.  Venelin Kokoranov’s paintings are on display in a number of galleries in Bulgaria including some of Sofia’s finest.  You can see Venelin’s work by visiting

During the week you will have the opportunity to paint two of Bulgaria’s most famous landmarks; Baba Vida Castle and Belogradchik rocks together with some wonderful scenery. Why September you might ask?  Venelin said that ‘the light, the colours, the contrasts and the warmth add to the pleasure of painting such beautiful icons’.  Not only will you have the opportunity to paint some of Bulgaria’s most scenic locations, your work may also be displayed in the local gallery.
